Order allocation
Different customers, different products, different picking processes. Make sure employees know exactly where to store goods with a top-notch allocation strategy. Because whatever your allocation needs are, with Boltrics’ WMS, it’s possible. By customer or type of goods, it’s all possible.
You can, for example, determine whether the requested quantities are collected via full carriers or whether you must carry out an order picking activity for this. When order picking is applicable, a specific (allocation) strategy offers the possibility to consider the delivery requirements of the delivery address when creating the pick order. This way, you continuously improve services and customer satisfaction.
Take expiration dates into account with your allocation strategy
Ensure goods with a specific expiry date don’t get delivered. Simply set a warning per customer article/delivery address.
Include the given quality in the allocation
Be sure that when a specific quality is requested, only that batch is allocated. Preventing stock with a different quality characteristic from being delivered. Proving your customers time and again they are working with the best in town.
How much space is still available? And what is still in stock? Forget complex calculations and show this information on your screen with a mouse click. Our WMS checks based on the number of items you store, how many items are still in stock, and whether there is still enough space for the number you store. Apply reservations and rolling stock
