Frigomundo Coldstore selects Boltrics’ branch solution Nekovri Dynamics

Ede, August 18, 2017 – Frigomundo Coldstore, part of Zandbergen World’s Finest Meat, selects Nekovri Dynamics as their WMS to fully support one of its new clients. While using the standard solution for the cold storage logistics, they maintain the flexibility to make configuration adjustments themselves.

Bi-directional communication with EDI

In order to be able to support one of their new clients, it turned out that their current solution was unable to support their needs. An important part of their wishes was too easily realize communication flows via EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) according to the latest technology. The logistics company, for example, wanted to be able to transfer messages from clients directly into the WMS and share information from the WMS real-time with clients through web services. With the current platform, this option was only possible through a highly expensive custom solution. Which became one of the reasons for Frigomundo Coldstore to start their search for a WMS solution that could offer these options by default.

So without the necessity to ask Boltrics to do this for us. At the same time, thanks to the collaboration with Boltrics, we have access to the latest functionalities that are added continuously, and we can always work with the latest version of Microsoft Dynamics, and thus the latest technology. For the moment, the solution will only be used for one client, but – depending on our experience with their system – we may consider using it also for our other customers.
