In order to live up to the customers’ expectations concerning lower costs and a shorter turnaround, De Klok Logistics is constantly looking for possibilities to further automate logistic processes in the warehouse. To achieve this, they recently replaced their existing WMS solution with Boltrics’ Cloud solution.

In order to get more insight in business processes and to identify points of improvements, the need for easy data access rises. However, the solution that De Klok Logistics was working with, did no longer meet those needs. Because data extraction was limited and connection from external (package carriers) would become too expensive. For example, realization, maintenance and possible expansion. This gave the logistics company enough reasons to look for a software solution that meets the latest technological innovations and corresponds with the current Microsoft Dynamics solution. Boltrics’ branch solution, based on the beforementioned platform, turned out to be the best option.

This way, we can anticipate instantly. Also, continuous insight into all our warehouses within the group (80.000m2, divided over 5 warehouses in Nijmegen, Venray and Vianen) is available. In addition to the standard modules, such as a connection with our RF-scanners, we have realized a large number of interfaces with our customers. This includes linking with external package carriers via the Transsmart software platform.”
